I like the composition! What do you think about to define the eyes more clearly, maybe it will provide a focus point for entire picture?

Hi Madio
You are right about the eyes.being the key to the action and composition:thumbsup:
I always wait until the end to do the fine details and accents ect…Composition, lighting, shade, shadow, color are key to a solid foundation to build upon,…and always come first…just like when you build a house…you start with the foundation first…and the details are done last…like the iceing on a cake so to speak…
An old and proven method of working practiced by all of the OldMasters…To do the details first,…would be like putting the cart before the horse. Just doesn’t work that way…
Experimenting with some ZBRUSH lighting this morning, to bring the forground into the forground ,and a little more polypainting, in the middle ground and background…Still a ton of stuff to do on it yet.

Yeah, teeth and eyes:) I think the stone to the right should be smaller and have some wet gloss on it, or maybe you have your own plan

Just letting it evolve, and go where it want’s to go…Always trust your own muse, and the instincts that you’ve learned and aquired on the path along your own lifes journy…

I like the light blue light you added in the latest update of this - it gives a more atmospheric feel to the piece.

Vilhelmina…Thank You…
…Still a ways to go on that one yet…Mostly just experimenting and exploring the new ZBRUSH features, and using some older works that I did a few months ago to practice what I learn on…Hard to keep up with all of the great new stuff that ZBRUSH is coming up with in these latest few updates of theirs…Great and exciting program to work with…endless possibilities…for creating and developing new methods to work with…
Dusted off another piece that I started a few monts ago this morning, top post below… and redid it this morning,…bottom post below… Using the same method as the last few bear scenes posted above and on the previous page in here…Starting to get the hang of this method, and it’s quick and alot of fun also…thanks to the new features within ZBRUSH…

Oh, that’s amazing! Last piece is so cool, really like the mood! In your works I feel art, not just technics
P.S. Once I see the green eye?

The bear was getting a little too out of focus, and lost in the landscape, so I fixed it this morning.

Thank You Splinter
Those new features in ZBRUSH like the FiberMesh and LightCap are Amazing, and great additions to that program…I just wish that they had come out earlier on with them, because I have a ton of works that would really benifit from those new features alot…That’s why i’m going back and selecting some older works at present to take a few steps further with and on them.using these new features within ZBRUSH…Polishing up some diamonds in the rough that have just been collecting dust so to speak…
Dusted off a piece that I sculpted awhile back…Experimenting with some FiberMesh on it this morning.
