Maybe in these times, the world is just plane missing a true Champion…Myself,I haven’t seen one since Mohammad Ali …He united people from all around the world in causes that were greater than himself, and did it by doing it in the ring and out of the ring also, with his stance against the war in Vietnam and all war in general…Before him, there was Joe Louis who in defeating Max Schmeling from Germany, showed the world that Hitler was wrong in his belief that he had created a super race of humans…and before Joe Louis there was Jim Braddock who in the time of the Great 1930’s depression gave a feeling of hope to the average working class people who were in dire straits at the time that hey, a lost cause can still become champion, and can do it in spite of dispair…Boxing had a powerful symbolic purpose and strenght which united and gave strenght to the working class underdog…something which is lacking in these current times unfortunitly…But hey,…who knows what lies ahead,…maybe a New Champion will emerge from the shadows when the world once again becomes truely in need of one…who knows…It’s a one in a million longshot…which always has been the case when it comes to boxing…and true Champions of the People.

Some more fun with this boxers gym this morning.
Thinking about putting a pair of boxing gloves laying on a chair with a towel draped over the back of the chair…up close in the forground, in the right hand corner of the scene…will add more depth and mood to the scene I think…Like a little stillife to offset the action…might be interesting if done right…maybe…

Having some more fun with this boxing gym scene …Decided to add a couple of kids mixing it up in a kiddy ring…Think a variety of ages in this scene is fitting and will add to the realism of what a boxing gym is all about…

Yesterday…Finished up on the boxing gym scene with kids in the ring piece.
Started work on a boxer skipping rope…an exercise to develope footwork, speed, and timing.
Going to create another boxing gym scene with new composition, using some new elements and actions that take place in a boxing gym.

Did some fine tuning of the chest area, shoulders, collar bones, neck, upper arms ect. this morning…Still …Lots more to refine yet…

[http://video.search.yahoo.com/search...ee&fr2=piv-web](http://video.search.yahoo.com/search/video;_ylt=A0oG7hGvEQxPr0YAJblXNyoA?p=skipping rope boxing&fr=mcafee&fr2=piv-web)

Above is a good link with videos that i’m useing as reference for the action/gesture…The 23 skipping rope exercises one is great
I will eventually try my hand at the Criss Cross technique/exercise,once I get a better feel for these actions. Think I better start out with a more simple one like the one i’m working on now to begin with though…LOL
