Gave the flower girl some time off, and joined the OFDW 017. Here´s a master copy of a Jean-Léon Gérôme painting called " Black Bashi-Bazouk".

#44

Here´s some progress.

#45

These are REALLY good! I can imagine some REALLY fantastic work in the coming future!

#46

That is looking great! I was thinking on starting with this painting as well for the OFDW… or maybe I’ll play around with the portraits of Zorolla?

Well we’ll see!

Keep it up!!

Done some more work on the hat. Finding it difficult to get in the pattern. Time for some hanging “thingys”

#48

Most of the hat is finished, and now I need a rest from it, so I´m starting on the clothes and folds. Which I think is fun

#49

Amazing job on the OFDW entry, the work on the hat is just very complicated, that deserves its own OFDW.

Pretty cool

#50

Started on the clothes.

#51

Almost finished now. Just the rifle and then the last touch-ups.

#52

SaraD,

That’s looking fantastic! I think this is one of your best pieces so far.

Cheers,

~Rebeccak

#53

I´m finished

#54

Started on another painting in the OFDW nr 17, and I´m gonna save more WIP´s on this one, since I can´t do a tutorial

#55

Wow! Awsome work SaraD! I can’t wait to see this latest one finished

#56

Started on the man himself.

#57

Really dig your work Sara, especially how you add so much depth to everything you do.Kudos!

Can you share any tips on your process? Like setting up your initial color palette, brushes you use, you way of blending colors e.t.c

Keep up the inspiring work

Cheers!
