Thank you everybody for your kind words.

“Reminds me of Venice, though I’ve never been there” It’s actually based on early 20th century spanish architecture. Which is the same as saying it’s based on some of the buildings back at college Which kind of answers Rebeccak’s question. I’m in college right now though I’m really studying film. I’m a big Frank Miller buff so I’m into the film noir and hard-boiled looks. Also old German expressionism. I’m more into stylized looks. Anyway I’m currently scanning more images which I will post soon. Thanks again for the great comments

Lol that’s a funny sketch… wonderful how you’ve created the illusion of him leaning on the book, even though he can’t be.

I’m missing a left arm though :wink:
