Monster_General,
I’m always happy to see new work, and to see people who work hard.
Keep up the good work ~ this giraffe skull is looking great. Pretty soon, you will have an entire poster! ![]()

Your sketches remind me of Traditional Printing, like Etching and such. Some nice skull studies.
Rebeccak: Thanks a lot . and I always become happy when someone reply to my topic , critics also makes me even happier
Fl3wk: Thanks for the comment . Oh etch ? I don’t know really , maybe rookie version
pushav: Thanks for the comment
I want to draw a different style bone but currently I trying to find it . Cya soon ![]()
Well that was just an example. If you have ever been in a print room with the rollers, acid pit, and the smelly messy containers then you might know what i mean. Yours looks more like the stencil technique but used only used black.
Monster_General,
Hmm, that’s interesting ~ how did you achieve that effect?
I personally prefer more straight shading than effects type work ~ don’t get too wrapped up in effects, as that is more about pushing buttons than it is about skill. Still, this looks quite cool.

Rebeccak: Thanks a lot for the comment
I really don’t do it with conscious , I just played with colour tunes and somethings from filter gallery and it becomes like that
First version was have normal shading , I was do it normal at first but later I wanted to try something and it becomes gold
I tend to avoid the filter gallery as much as possible ad it can make somethink scream ‘filtered’. It gets nice effects, but I prefer images where you cannot tell if it was traditionally made or computer made.
Rebeccak ; I am embarassed to tell this but if you have time and if you want to , I want from you to can u recommend me some images to copy from , such like masterpieces , anatomy etc . I searched most of the links you show me before but for say the truth I not find something for drawing good , so if you know very good references , can u show me them , please
My problem is , I can’t choose and decide which picture I must study on so I am slow at those times :banghead: Not only Rebeccak but if any others can help me to choose pictures , I will be much appreciate them too
:wip:
Why not start here?
There are also other links in the first post to the Beginners’ Lounge containing Master Drawings.
Cheers,

Thanks again for advice Rebeccak , I want to start but erm , they are nude  I know this would be a ‘’ very ‘’ silly question but is there any other possible way to learn anatomy , if not so I will be compelled to draw nude for sure ._.
Heh, hmm, try here:

Also I did a Google search for “Rubens drawing” and came up with this:

Oh oh , thank you
That rubens drawings are especially looks good to me , I will stay those at my fave list so I will do some of them often .
Cheers
Wow, that was quite fast!
Great to see these ~ I really encourage you to do more of these kinds of studies. By the way, what media are you using? One thing I would suggest would be to slightly vary the line weight when drawing ~ you ought to take a look at Drawings by Leonardo, for example.
Check out this really good site to see his work:

Rebeccak : Thanks a lot for the great comment you made again . I use only ‘’ B ‘’ or ‘’ HB ‘’ pencil for drawing , sometimes mechanical pencil , I love to use those
Lines wasn’t too dark actually , when I export it to PS , I change its adjustements so its looks like black , its actual colour was gray
And I check out that Leonardo’s site now . I will try to catch and learn somethings from here aswell , thanks
