Good morning all girls and guys… :wavey:

Update of the morning now…

The portrait is almost finished… remain me to refined some details and tones… (eyebrows, haire, etc…), but at this moment, I prefer to wait the final steps… a little time permit me to be a little bit more objective…
…and I can consacrate this time for the background.

Great progression…the only thing that seems funny is the eyebrows a little bit…the eyes are still just a little flat, but I know you’ll be creating a masterpiece. :wink: :thumbsup:

Very nice likeness, it seems you’ve depicted him even younger than he appears in the photograph…perhaps a little down on the cheeks would give it that extra touch. :slight_smile:

Yes… the eyebrows appear very massive at this moment… I will lower that…

Okay with you about flat eyes… totally my fault… I try to don’t marked too much the rings under his eyes… but now… there’s nothing… to add a little then…

About cheeks… I will test… if I understand well your thoughts…

Don’t know… I don’t want to have lot of detail here… it’s just a background… planed very dark… I will try to have something just suggered, if I can… in this case, I think that over painting can’t help…
We will see… just a feeling affair now, and I would go where my brush will lead me

Hey your portrait is almost done Laurent, and it’s absolutely great ! Phew , hard to say that is not a photo…

For the background , it will be great like this ! Lot of details here , but maybe by playing with lights and shadows you will have something more suggered…

Well great work , it’s gonna be a real masterpiece for your son…

ahahaha :scream: … but you know 2 things happened to me during the challenge , and both because of him : first I joined the Lolo’s fanclub ! well I was already before but as a silent member. And second of all , I joined the spam team… well no comment for that :smiley: .

Besides , I miss the daily spam/good morning session… So since he’s working hard everyday to post his update , I have to spam him everyday :wise: even if I feel I don’t belong to that 2d world , always cool to see new stuffs and learn new tricks , always usefull.

Lemog…Likeing that background…my eye went thru the arch next to his left ear,
right side of painting, and then came right back to his face…Great job on that also
