Great gestures, man. Something I should work on myself. And I will, eventually. I would really like to see much more of your pencil stuff, you’re doing an amazing job with it.
I have this great example of gestures for you. If you have laptop you could take it to the life drawing session and be a geek. Take a look HERE. Sorry, I don’t remember the artist of these, it’s among thousands of other pieces I have saved on my hard drive.
razz: thanks alot for ur encouragement, sure i’l put more pencils very soon.the link you gave was real good,iv saved that too for next time. too bad i dont hav a lappy(tho i really wanna buy 1  ) and also these are practises from pictures.there isnt a single decent figure drawing session/classes in delhi
i tried one but it sucked so bad that i left after first session only
batte812 & MIX3XIM: thanks for dropping by and for ur kind words
ok, this is a post that i should hav made loooong tome ago.i started my first fixed pose model in aug,the whole idea was to model raw force like an animation pose but it never went beyond base.today i found it again lying around so i thot i’d tweak it and post it here…fixed poses are hard but they sure are grand fun.also im trying to finish the whole modelling part in max only unless i lose patience.

this is with cam. it’l hav clothes,a hoop and lots of photoshopping

Hey Killer - Great looking bike. This must be what you have been working on lately. I am enjoying time off for Thanksgiving holiday even though I have several school assignments due by next Friday. I will start those Sunday. In the mean time, I am on the computer to start drawing the first few pages of my novel. I am searching for references right now. Later!
Hiya,
Nice work so far on the bike, killer, but I think that it just doesn’t have enough gears. It doesn’t at first hit me that it is steampunk. The technique is very nice, but I would try to push the steampunk more. Perhaps you could have more steam pipes and the like? I would add more gears as well, but try to keep it rudimentarily plausible.
On the head sketches, they are coming along, and I like. How you play with the planes. The forma and anatomy seem a bit off on some of them, espeically around the jaw and neck line. Overall well done sir.
As always take care, be safe, and farewell

hey aggie, enjoy the free time well.imagination needs lots of idling.best of luck for your assignments.
aethalin:the bike you are seeing here is the most practicaaly possible idea i could come up with.secondly, its a mock up model that means this will only serve as a manikin/base for my final image so all it pipes and guages and steam will be added then.yeah head studies were off at many places(imagine i only posted 2 pages from 3 hr study, how bad the rest would be) but if i was good in my suff why would i practise
thanks for feed back
KM
I like the bike, it has a chopper feel to it. One thing doesn’t seel it to me though. It’s the seat, the way it’s lifted. And the sketch where the guy is sitting on it, doesn’t look that much comfortable to hold your body with your hands all the time. Just making the seat more horizontal would help it I think. And maybe the seat could look more like THIS instead of the bicycle seat you have now.
These are only suggestions and my opinion
Looking forward to an update!
hey razz,
thanks for the critical feedback.i was thinking about that in start but forgot to revise it…well i hav new update on that but not exactly the way you suggested
well since many ppl in office confused me to my wits end with there feedback(they thot it was normal bike :surprised ) so i did a paintover today so show them what this thing is exactly.added some stuff too.time is running out…hav to hurry up with this :argh:

feedback needed ultra quickly :deal: :deal:
