Nice Works! Really really improving a lot.
Skull was really a treat for the eyes although one from your forum was right about the proportions.
Cool Works and way to go.

#86

You have some sculpts in your thread & to me it looks like you’re improving with
each new project. I can’t crit these as I’m not a 3D person. I like the bright colours in
your speed paints, keep these up and do more sketching

cheers

monicaitt thanks for the comment.

I created a new creature frogcroc just for fun:) i took 2 images frm google and played in photoshop.comments r welcome:).

#92

back after a long time here is a new speed paint.

#93

I’d say avoid using the airbrush (soft brush) too much. Or correct the edges after doing so. These speed paints look way too soft. Edges - very important.
Frogcroc, nice name for that one, but there’s a little something that would make it more realistic, the skin differences of the two. The frog is wet and reflects the sky while the crocodile is quite matte.
I like the exercise you did with the colored boxes, I’ve seen it being done many times. Few things that stand out are wonky perspective and no reflections of the boxes on other boxes. Say, the green of the box would show up a little on the gray box, or the red on the orange and etc. This would add a lot of realism to the image.
Hope this helped. Keep going!

#94

hey razz thanks for the comment it really helped me.
eye paint

#95

Tried painting using photo reference.c&c r welcome.

#96

nice studies buddy…liked the last one very much…

#97

Wow. Killer stuff. Keep it coming.

And yeah, razz is right about the soft brushes (and is a good person to listen to in general!).

#98

I agree with razz, use a hard edged brush and avoid “overblending”.
Perspective is something that will always demand attention, because sloppy perspective is always immediately noticable. Don’t let it discourage you though, take the challenge
The frogcroc is really nice, that one made me smile
