Great sculpts Magda as always ! I really enjoy that “organic feeling” of manimal, female face, and also the last piece. Hope to see more work from you !

NR43 - thanks!

Bapke - thank you very much

alenah - Thanks

Hagelades - dzieki  working on more

well thanks very much guys - I just wanted to mention that my grandma has made it into print - and has been featured in Scot Spencer’s excellent Zbrush book, that you can find here.

A shameless plug I know  One way or the other I’d definitely recommend the book as such because it’s got a lot of knowledge in it and practical tricks.

I’ll also be doing a demo at this year’s Siggraph over at the Pixologic booth so if anyone’s there be sure to say hi! I’m working on a character that I’ll be using as the base of the presentation and I’ll try to post some of it soon.

thnx!

HEY…Magdalena…YABA DABA DOO…TO YOU TO :scream:

GREAT to see you back in here… …Missed the inspiration that I ALWAYS get from seeing your work.
Congrats on all the good stuff that is happening to you,…you deserve it all.
I wish that I were able to see you demonstrate Z BRUSH at that convention coming up…I might actually be able to understand about half of what you demonstrate…LOL…When I sat with Rebecca and watched a guy demonstrating Z BRUSH at the convention here in Boston a couple of years back,…everything he did and explained was way over my head. It was like he was speaking a different language, one that I didn’t understand.:banghead:…but I really enjoyed it, even if I didn’t understand it.
ANYWAY,…JUST WANTED TO WISH YOU GOOD LUCK…YOU’LL DO GREAT…I’M SURE OF IT.
FANTASTIC UPDATES IN THIS THREAD by the way…Love them all.

KEEP INSPIRED AND INSPIRING…Magdalena
TAKE CARE
Glenn

Thank you so much everyone

Glenn - I appreciate it  I’m not sure how I’ll cope with the stress of doing somehting like this for the first time [well I did a live demo/booth event here in Montreal for Ubi before so it’s not that new but it’s Siggraph ]

Frejashere - thanks! Oh you just have to see Hades in action

Anand - yay

samarcbz - thank you so much sir! Much appreciated

collings - thanks NIck  I’m kinda stoked on it myself…

well while I’m working on my other projects here’s something I did when I had a bit of free time - it’s based on a hillarious drawing by Subtle_squid from Conceptart.org - from one of the CHOWs…

a deranged goat  [pardon the huge format…]

#1272

Hi Magdalena

I will check out animated version of Hades for sure… so far only been able to see
the cartoon images (temporary slow connection atm…)

I like this last one you’re working on… there’s something ‘cute’ (for want of better word)
about him once you’ve put his leather flight helmet on… I think it shows off his round face
and very very subtle smile. He may be very focused yes, but not terribly menacing or out to
inflict pain? Just rambling really, sorry - I do look forward to updates to see where you take him

cheers and take care
a.

#1276

Glenn - haha yessss I haven’t seen a goat with those eyes before either but that’s what attracted me to it … I liked the way they worked in the concept so decided to stick to it

Annette - damn you nailed my intentions - he’s a goblin but I don’t want him to look all mean like some of them do, but a bit cute as well [still menacing enough it need be ;)]… that’s what I love about Brian Fraud’s goblins so much, they’re really cuddly looking until they’re real nature is revealed LOL

#1277

that head shot image of the posted earliar are the straps seprate geometry, its looking very good, looking to see more.

#1278

wow! this whole thread is filled with highly inspiring stuffs… Vikram always mentions you as an example when he explains me about your progress in sculpting whenever we have a talk and how you used to get the topology right everytime… Your latest speed sculpts are superb! when i am trying to sculpt something… i am in too much hurry to finish the model and hence not getting that perfect feel and most of the sculpts end up as just doodles… don’t know when i will be making a complete sculpt suitable for demoreel…

#1279

aesis412 - thank you  yes it’s all separate geometry!

namnocilis - thank you! Too kind - say hi to Vikram
