HEY…Magdalena…Congrats on getting her in the gallery…you deserve it for sure…![]()
I have a question,…How do I go about getting the Z BRUSH 3, and it is free isn’t it, if I already bought the older Z BRUSH program, which I did, less than a year ago…Let me know, if and when you get the time and a chance…Mrs Spirit Dreamer/ Jessica tried to find out how to get the new version for me, but couldn’t find out how to do it, or get it…HELP

Too bad you can’t swear on cgtalk ! proper language isn’t enough to express my admiration !
The lady in the veil is crazy !! what the heck is this ? I demand a wireframe or I shall send a dalek to montreal
Intervain! You floor me! Just had to take time out to post.
Amazing sculpts. Always admired your finesse with ZBrush in every work you’ve undertaken, BUT…

This one just has so much life in it, character just oozes out of those eyes. This is what makes youe work stand out to me. The quality of a captured moment in time in these portraits.
You really should do a ZBrush Tut. ZBrush has always fascinated me. Wiith such beautiful examples as you create, I know I will definitely take the plunge, one day soon, because of the inspiration.
Awesome
Eduardo - thanks
Annette - thank you very much for the kind words!
newzacade - cheers! Thanks for visiting :)
Sherif.Nagib - ah keep talking... here's a wire if you're so desperate to see it :D:scream: a screen from zbrush so it's a bit battered ;)

AztcFireFlower - OMG - that's way too kind! Thank you all the same, I'm all tickled pink now :) Glad you like...
I’ve taken a few days away from all 3d… yay! Next step - I think I want to submit something to Expose 3… I’ve been having millions of ideas these past few days and I’m now sifting through them
hmmm… effectively… no comments about the wire
You’re honored by the result… simply incredible…
…have a nice week Magdalena…
@ Intervain
I see lots of talent, also find it painful sometimes.
Interesting my first tries at brush sculpting end up about the same time as yours, say 5-7 hrs.
After that I kind of start losing interest, sadly enough.
Maybe you can always pick it up again later but nothing like
getting things from start to finish.
I’m sure practice makes it easier as you go, enjoying this thread ![]()
Lemog cheers
Thanks a lot!
Spin99 - don’t mean to be rude or anything but I’m afraid I didn’t quite understand what you mean? I read your post 3 times and am still confused
what’s paiful?… still I’m glad you like the thread
like I’ve said folks - a few days off - for good measure so I dont’ become mad
So that’s why you haven’t been posting artwork. I was about to harrass you elsewhere about it. I just got a drawing magazine with pictures of drawings, suprizingly. I plan on drawing the drawings.
Heh, don’t worry about it, really.
By painful I mean sometimes I find artistic expression can be like that,
or it can be healing or it can be joyful, or whatever, or maybe it’s finding the right keys or shortcuts that sometimes even makes it a pain, not sure
I’d write things in French but maybe it’d make even less sense (French not that good)
Was also trying to relate my brushes experience (ZBrush?) to yours in the sense of how long it takes me
to sculpt something. Aren’t brushes a great thing, I’ve also tried going poly-per-poly and it can take
so much longer. Thanks for sharing that.
I started playing around with it not long ago and am not a pro like you, of course.
I’m glad you’re glad anyway tee hee, really nothing to think about.
ah - now it’s clear
And ehehe French would not help because I know so little of it myself
Oh brushes are great and I think it’s only a matter of practice like painting - the more you do it the faster you get… also don’t be afraid to just push and pull stuff - you can always undo them and perhaps with 1 hard tug you’ll get what you wanted
I’ve been doing it for a very short time and have tons to learn still … that’s just my experience…
good luck with Zbrushing - looking forward to seeing some of your stuff
