wow! -very nice progress on the old lady (and the army-man/dove pict). really like the colors and her eyes.
not sure, but her hands looks like they a tad too small for her, and maybe also too “young”. but ofcause, that, you can always correct.

great portrait but perhaps she looks younger than expected.
The contrast of the nearly teethless mouth with the lack of wrinkles in the facial skin is too big imo.
The painting has a very nice warm feeling. Almost like this woman wants to be kind and friendly to the one who is looking at her, even though she has had her share of bad luck, pain etc.
I browsed through all pages, didn’t read everything but saw all the great images.

And that old lady looks really great. Is her front teeth (the two big ones) missing or not? I can see something there, but not sure what.

Last one is freaking amazing!! Really worked on the hair more than the face, eh? Well, looks great. It’s good how having a rival can make it much better, hehe. Though I never liked its interface, the way it’s controled, gotta get used to it, which I do not like doing, so mudbox is more suitable. I couldn’t say I like this new zbrush 3 material I see in beta images. Aah, so much of a 3d sculptor from me…

Great sculpt Intervain. I just got the beta too but have been too busy to really jump into it. Really nice hair! My only crit is her ear looks a little high up on her head, maybe just pull the lobe down a bit? Other than that, it’s great! Do you have plans to take her further or start something else with the beta?

I’ve istalled the new painter lately… will try to get myself convinced about it… it’s just you can make so many good brushes that mimic real stuff in photoshop and it has so many other rocking features painter’s just lacking that I’m not sure I’ll quickly get convinced - not 100% any way

well to tease ya all then - a little something I did today [using a default human head - obviously pushing and pulling the hell out of it LOL] my first evah monster… not partial to cg monsters in general…
Don’t you have to sign up to test it? I’m not sure if they are that wild about me over zbrushcentral, I tend to give harsh crits where everybody else fawns on everybodies work.
By the way your mouth looks too regular and small. The edges of the mouth are the wrong shape for the expression as well since I think the upper lip tends to be larger. This creates a curved line that connects to the bottom lip. Otherwise its a really good start.

I still think if you widen the upper lip you will get a better mouth shape. Where do you sign up?
Awesome work on the lady. The hair is so detailed. One little nitpicky thing is that her ear seems a bit on the small side. I think your monster is cool. Maybe give him some sharp teeth. He reminds me of those old monster movies.
Your school is still “girly” since it was 1 year rather than 4 years. Even if your stuff looks more impressive than mine…
