Nice to meet another person who just started their sketchbook. It looks like you are well on your way. Keep doing what you’re doing and you will be a pro in no time
Nice clean model of the skull. Looks like it will make a great base model for zb. Can’t wait to see the end result!
Hi Devised_Poly, thanks !!!
I still need to study a lot … but it is the only way to the good … and it am having lots of fun … doing theses studies … and a I need to do it harder and harder …
Soon I will post more updates of the skull and other studies too …=)
Great lines! However I can see that you have some problems with perspective and balance (symmetry) in some of your drawing. I would advise you to practise drawing basic shapes. Many people underestimate this. It will really help you to see distortions in perspective faster when you do this exercise regularly. And when you’re drawing the figure, observe very carefully how all the shapes fit into or on top of each other. Keep up the great work!
Hi SwendlyB thanks man for the tip … I am trying to work this up … It is difficult to me … but I am studing hard …=)
This week was very hard to study because of work but I did some studies especially of leg and hands …It was the week´s exercise of my drawing class …=)
But I will continue my other studies in parallel too
Soon I will post my zb studies too …

Really like your clear and flowing line, nice studies! :applause:
Why are you painting with a blue crayon? Is it something special?
Hi tizianoadmirer, thanks for the compliment =)
Hi BapKe thanks !!!
No, there isn´t any special reason for the blue crayon, I just like it to do rough drawings …=)
…tought I could give some constructive critic on the skull…
-the main problem seems to be the eye sockets. They are too flat, especially, in the upper part, where the brows are. These should be buldging out of the main form. Also I think you should get the overall shape first, then head to details like teeth and small bumps…later, you should sculpt each individual tooth (don’t be impatient!) instead of just “drawing” them… In the top view the face part looks too narrow, like the skulls of those monkeys
hope you don’t mind my critics, I am just pointing out things you should work on! keep it up!![]()

Hi ghoul, thanks for the comments !! It will help a lot, hope to hear more constructive comments like yours …=) I am posting my stydies just to hear this and learn more …=)
I am still working on the skull, soon I will post it with the adjustments …thanks
Great thread you have here
You’re very skilled
on the 3D skull… could it be that the face is just a tad too narrow compared to the back of the head? Just wondering
I really like your muscle studies a lot. What do you use as a refrence for some of them? (Thanks for the comment in my thread a week or so back!)
I have to say that hands are some of the most difficult things for me personally and you have got some really good studies going on…It looks like I am studying from the same book of anatomy as you (the “Dynamic Anatomy” book). That book is a great find.
Keep up the good work
PS the 3D Skull is looking pretty good
