Sketchbook Pro has a feature called “Symmetry” that, when turned on, when you draw on the right side the left side automatically does the same. Does Photoshop have this? If so how do I turn it on? This feature is great for drawing anything straight on like a front view for a model sheet. So my question is, again, does photoshop have this “Symmetry” tool/feature?
Sketchbook pro VS Photoshop?
no
may i ask why you would like to have symmetry in PS? i’m asking because there are other programs that have symmetry function. more then left/right. for instance TwistedBrush have hundreds different symmetry brushes
ty for the response creeto
im asking because i was considering buying sketchbook pro, but i wouldnt have to if PS had the same feature. i love the symetry tool in sketchbook (i used the free trial version) and it would be great for quickly producing model sheets. you mentioned “twisted brush” ive never heard of that one.
not many have. it’s a drawing app which has some amazing brushes. i love it
there’s a totally free version but i don’t know if the symmetric possibilities are included in it. give it a test anyways
ps.
ZBrush has symmetric tools for drawing as well
