Sketchbook of "stridiggio"

#1

Hey there, this thread is to post my experiments and wips of My works in 2D, regards…
I usually delete the posts that I don’t find interesting or are older, that to have an order in my Sketchbooks, so don’t worry about it cause I’m updating my works frecuently in both 2D and 3D to have a better portfolio.
About me…I’m David Reyes, recently graduated as Graphic Designer in 2008, I work mostly in 3D with XSI/Blender and in 2D with Painter and PS.

I change my account from photobucket to picassa, so some links or images could not appear sometimes, also I usually broke the old links or works to get speed in the connection,

cheers,

I like what you have going on here, very classic looking. my only problems are this. It seems as though you are sketching your figures and/or putting them in a proper space. The colors seem to be a bit hazey, muddy, and ran together so you tend to lose your focal point to your background. Try sharpening your illustrations a bit more with details and colors that’ll make it pop. You’re off to a good start. Keep it rockin.

Gary: many thanks for dropping by,.

Sure that I want to be finishing these ideas but I don’t know if that is permited here, because my idea is make more slow and detailed illustrations-paintings as you said but here is speedpaintings-sketchs,so I have to find the correct forum to do that.
Thanks again! BTW I like your concepts well defined style!, I’ll be there dropping by…cheers.
