I have to agree with the others, I’m not too fond of the mask idea either. It’s very imaginative, but the skull is his trademark, I’d say.
Great scultping work so far and very dynamic and expressive pose! ![]()
Here’s a few anatomical crits. Your biceps anatomy appears to be off. I have no idea where that muscle might be inserting on the upper end on your sculpt. It appears to be somewhere on the backside of the ribcage. In reality, the upper end for the long head runs on the front of the humerus past deltoid and pec insertions across the ball joint of the bone and then attaches on the upper part of the scapular side of the joint. The tendon actually enters the arcticular capsule anteriorly in a special bony notch. The short head attaches directly onto the coronioid process of the scapula, which is located in front of the shoulder joint. Hence the armpit region on your sculpt looks all wrong. Perhaps that description helps picture the anatomy more clearly. You are also missing the bicipital fascial attachment at the lower end, which runs toward the inside center of the forearm flexor group. Never mind these crits if your anatomy is supposed to be fictional.
Keep up the great work!
Cheers!
