Simulating the electron cloud image in CorelDRAW

Good day :slight_smile: I want to do the following thing in CorelDRAW or in Adobe Illustrator. I have got the ring of any color (green for example) and I would like this ring to be transparent at its inner and outer edges and opaque (that is green) in the middle of the ring. I tried to do it in CorelDRAW by means of Transparency tool, but I failed:

    How this can be done in CorelDRAW or in Adobe Illustrator? When I tried to do it the result was this:

    You see that the ring at its edges IS NOT transparent. Actually I want to simulate the image of electrons or other subatomic particles as shown here:

    So, how this can be done?

Hi, I don’t know Draw but in Illustrator you need to make sure the outer colour stops are set to zero opacity.
