Simple Roller Coaster model Help.

#1

Hello,

I’m making a roller coaster model for my physics class using lightwave. Here is what I have done right now. I am pretty new to LightWave and it’s hard for me to make some parts of this model, for example the start point and the loop need a lot of working…I also need to add a funnel type thing where the ball will go in circles. Could you guys help me a little I’m not sure exactly how to approach these parts of the model.

Mmm I guess I would bet for using tools like Rail Extrude or Rail Clone, just draw a curve in a layer, set it on background, and in the active layer draw a simple geometry (ie. the top face of a disc) that fits the starting of the curve, hit Rail Extrude and the geometry will extrude along the curve, or hit Rail Clone and the geometry will clone along the curve.

Maybe it’s a good starting point
