Short Instructional Video?

#1

Hello everyone. Just wondering if anyone has seen these two threads?

The BoneZone. & ThomasPhoenix

They are simply put: amazing! I was wondering if anyone had any youtube videos or something like that, that actually showed the artist while he does his work. I say that because I want to see HOW he does his drawings, like how he draws the figures and the like. If anyone has any videos like that, that would be great for me (and hopefully others). Thank you.

Good post

I think it’s the best way to learn.
The best would be in quicktime format.
Video tutorials in real time with the artist commenting as he paint and with the tools displayed on screen.
Is it too much to ask? :stuck_out_tongue:

My interest would be to see a more advance video like this on painter with a final piece that shows the use of light, color temperature, the influence of the light on materials. Not just values (or coloring on top of a gray scale drawing).

Thanks for the reply. I agree. I was looking for some videos on youtube. I’ve found a couple. They’re about sculpture, and I’ve learned quite a bit from them. I’m sure these can be useful somehow to digital art. The process of making these sculptures is very informative at the very least. I particularly like the first one. The detail is stunning.
