Looks very good! Btw, in norwegian it is spelled Fenris not Fenrir, and Odin not Odhin! Not a biggie, just thought you might wanted it correct. =) Keep it up, cant wait to see more!

I am an unemployed 3d artist from Germany. I would describe myself as a character modeller, working with 3dsmax, Silo,Zbrush and started to learn XSI.

This project looks pretty good. I always wanted to work on a viking history. Any other space left for an animator? I can show you some animations (walk cycle, throwing a ball and facial & lip sync) if needed.
Is there a web site about the film? I have a web server and I could host the web site, just to have all the information on the same place and organized.

The modelling looks really good.
I take it this is going to take place on the ocean. Any plans on how the ocean shader will be done? Either the ocean sells it or recks it. I hate cg looking water. I haven’t seen to many examples of photorealistic oceans done in Max.
There is a guy I know who does amazing procedural work. Would you like me to ask him if he could give the ocean a try? I haven’t heard from him in a while so I don’t know what he’s up to these days.

Howdy guys! Wow, lots of posts here, I’m glad to know this project rised such an interest.
Now, if you wonder who I am, I’m the 2D artist for “Shards of Asgard” project. And as Grrrrrrr is really busy, i stepted in so I can answer your posts. So here we go:
FE_Cyril - I already work on the storyboards so the basic choreography is established there. I must confess I wouldn’t know how to use a skill like yours so maybe you would like to give us a few more details about what you can do with us?
3DEffects - I hope to be worth waiting. Aldo it may be a little longer we don’t plan to abandon this project, not in a million years. Grrrrrrrrr and I are commited to finish it no matter what, no matter how long it will take. Obviously, we would prefere to be as fast done and as better as possible:D
nicofb - I’m a mythology freak (oh yeah, I can finally can get out of the closet:D) so I know about the names. I just found so many forms of each name in my resources I just took one randomly (like Odin, Odhin, Odhinn, Wotan, Allfather, etc) knowing the final movie won’t feature any of those names. Those were just reference points for our characters. Thank you for pointing out that 'tho. To be honest, my first ideea was that everything should be as realistic as possible and I’m still digesting the ideea that even the storytelling in the begining should be in Norwegian with english subtitles. As I said, I’m a freak:D So if you know any voice talent to help us with that (translation and interpretation), we need an oldman voice with a tired and wispery tone.

This project looks awesome. Why no updates in over 2 months? It looked like a lot of people were interested.
I’m too busy with my own stuff to get involved, but if the project is still moving I’d love to see the progress.
The project is still in work but we all stumbled into life lately:D That means eather exams, jobs or other things like that. So there are no updates yet as we want the next update to be the final one before big scenary renders and beauty renders. We already have some textured characters and props, most of the characters have been modeleted and the animator is doing his best working on expressions and walk cycles. So don’t take us for dead yet.
Hi , your project seems to be great one , I would like really to join your team as a modeler (organic , character or architectural) what ever the task I belive I can deliver .

Ok guys, here is a long overdue update. I hope this sneak peak into our work will bring up your confidence and suport.
Here is our first fully textured character. The mesh was modeled by bradjames and the textures were made by Johanes Kurnia. I lend a hand myself.
