Might I ask how much you guys sell these games for? (or are they made for free for exposure on shockwave.com?)

Hi,
thanks for your attention.
I cannot say a lot of information, as you can imagine. For sure we are not working for free

Hello,

Your games are fun! It’s awesome to see some fun Shockwave games. I’ve been trying to learn the Java 3d API (and later JOGL) to develop a game of my own. Do you think there are any advantages that shockwave has over that path? For instance, how many polys are in any one scene of your games? What are some good resources for getting started in shockwave game dev?

BTW, the game mechanic on your oversized game rocks. It’s challenging. There is definitely a level of finesse to keep the thing on it’s wheels and fast at the same time. Good job.

Going to play your FPS now.

ALRIGHT!!! I’ve got a a couple of extremely stiff drinks in me and I can’t beat the damn FPS game. I run right up to the last level. But can’t kill the damn brain. This is by far my fav.

thesightsmith: hahah…you’ve to kill BEFORE his 6 external eyes and THEN the central big eye.
Obviously you’ve to deactivate the 4 switches too.
I can suggest you “to run” BEFOREto deactivate the 4 switches and THEN to go back in the safe zone (with some wall to protect you) and begin to kill the eyes

About developing: shockwave/director developing is hard because it suffers by a lot of bugs and stupid ticks; we are old school developer (still 1994) so we are able to fight against “super low poly” graphics and hard coding. I cannot say to you :" yeah !! use free director …it’s the best!!!"

Thanks
