Shockwave 3D

#1

I’m new to the forums but became interested when I saw the section for game development.

I am primarily a 3D illustrator (Lightwave 7) as well as multimedia experience in the past. I became interested in messing with Director again seriously with the advent of 3D capabilities.

While Shockwave may not be the best solution in some cases it certainly does bring ease of 3D implimentation to any multimedia designer.

I’m currently working on my first Shockwave 3D title and will post test as soon as they’re ready. I’d love to see what others are doing with it as well as share tips.

I looked into Shockwave 3D for project but found it lacking in several features I needed. I am eager to see what people are doing with it since it is a common plugin in browsers, unlike vrml.

There seems to be a boom in Web3D stuff at the moment with Adobe coming out with Atmosphere. And of course the awaited X3D.
