Sllink,
Iām having āfunā with the rig for the landmate, of course I forgot about rigging the inner arms.
For the GMan - we didnāt use the inner (pilot) fingers to drive the outer hands, which made the constraints less of a hassle as we didnāt need one per bone per finger.
(You know what Iām going to ask donāt youā¦)
Is it too much of a ātravestyā if I swap over the inner arm āglovesā for some simpler geometry so we donāt have to drive the inner fingers, just the hand position / rotation.
If itās critical that the model stays as is fair enough, (Iāll just send you the bill from my therapist
).
Iāve also realigned the inner arms as they need to be in āt-poesā stance, and the strut/wing thingies on the back as they also will need to be driven by the rig / constraints (Iāve added one bone per wing thingy and one to lock the main part of the back pack as per the G-Man.
The overall appearance wounāt be affected, (Iāve created a copy anyway so the original is intact), but the removal of having to make some considerable additional constraints.
Unleess someone knows of a way to avoid that?
