Shave 7.0v30 Maya 2013.0

Hi, I’m a little new to the SP shave stuff where you create the curves and then apply the SP blonde or SP brunette hair to them. Are these compatable with the shave dynamics system? Every time I try to calculate the curves maya 2013 crashes.

My workflow is simply to create the curves, apply the SP hair to them which works fine. I then group the curves, set a directory for the point cache and then try to calculate the dynamics. Is there something else I need to do?
