Several animated tracks on the same mesh for export

#1

Hi everyone!

I need to export several animations to fbx. For example I have two animations on the same mesh using just Pose Morph without joints (cube can fly and jump) and I don’t want these animations playing at the same time. I want separately.

How am I doing it for now:
I create a lot of animations tracks for one object in c4d -> export it to fbx and in blender I separate this tracks to several NLA -> export to fbx. The result is in ue4 I get separate animations for one object.

My goal is:
Create several NLA (motion clips or something) in C4D and avoid using Blender for sort and divide tracks to NLA animations. Is it possible make it with C4D? I can’t find anything in the Internet about it, I will be glad if you can help me.

After import it has to work like that:
I have only one mesh, and many animation tracks for it. When cube flies, it doesn’t jump and vice versa. And I want make many instances of this cube in UE4 and be able to select the necessary animation track for different instances of it.

Sorry for my English and thanks in advance

And I want to add something

For example we have two face blend shape animations consist of 3 tracks each. The blender can convert 3 tracks of first animation and 3 tracks of second animation into two separate nla and export it to fbx without strange extra files… just fbx and it get me ability to import two nla tracks to ue4

And I will see in ue4 two animation sequences (nla in c4d/blender term) and each consist of 3 blendshape tracks

My goal only decrease pipeline iterations so I can get fbx with any count of nla with any count of tracks each inside but it is require lot of manipulations. I need to grouped tracks in blender in nla

You can see what I do in the bottom of this tutorial. First part about creating tracks and second how difference tracks grouped by their own nla

I’m curios: c4d doesn’t have same ability?

and only one way is export lot of blend shapes tracks from c4d without groups and write a script or something in blender for grouped my tracks to necessarily nla in blender?

I’m not interesting pla or alembic it is doesn’t have meaning for me in this case

And in another words

Does anyone know is it possible to export from C4D to FBX several NLA-tracks on the same mesh?
As Blender can export Actions (nla) to fbx, as Maya can export Animation Clips to fbx, as DAZ can export Actions (animated pose morphs for example) to fbx… I just need export my several animations (Motion Clips with Pose Morph animations) to fbx
I can’t understand what wrong with me, c4d or fbx, this task sounds easy and I don’t believe that it doesn’t work
