selecting edges and making faces

Hey I’m new to blender and I was doing a teapot blender modeling tutorial on YouTube, but there came a part where I had to select two edges at the same time and make a face. I know you press ‘f’ to make a face but I am having trouble selecting edges from two different objects at the same time. I’ve pressing shift and right clicking but I still can’t select both edges at the same time. Maybe I’m in a weird mode idk. Please help! Thanks :banghead:

There’s either something seriously wrong with the tutorial or you’ve gone wrong somewhere.:slight_smile:

You can only edit one object at a time.

To remedy the situation, in object mode, select both objects and hit CTRL+J to join them.
