Midcoast Studio in Troy, Michigan is seeking experienced 3D Modeling artists on a freelance basis, with an opportunity to potentially transition into a full-time role. While we would prefer the individual(s) to be located in the immediate Southeast Michigan area, remote employees may be considered, following a review of artists’ portfolio and professional references.
DESCRIPTION:*At Midcoast, we pride ourselves in delivering the highest quality visual solutions, while being at the cutting edge of image production. To help us stay there we need you! We are currently looking for experienced 3D Modelers with talent and flair, an eye for detail, and a passion for the digital space.
REQUIREMENTS:*The artist should be highly Proficient with 3d Studio Max or Maya, and V-Ray (REQUIRED), and demonstrate the following:
Proven ability to be detail oriented and to work efficiently within a production environment.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Modeling
*Able to take direction from the Leads and Supervisors, and feedback from the support team.
Previous production experience or exceptional artistic skills/abilities in CGI/traditional artwork.
Strong problem solving skills and a good eye required
Must be able to work in a collaborative environment, taking direction.
