Searching for old CGtalk book suggestion on PERSPECTIVE

#1

Years ago, there was a sticky thread on CGtalk.com about book suggestions.

It had Harold Speed’s book in it,
BUT ALSO
a book from 1800s about PERSPECTIVE.

In some ways, it’s the best book on perspective I’ve read, very geometrical, logical, thorough.

Cannot find any trace of it now.
So was wondering if anyone remembers the book’s name, writer, or the thread, anymore?

Any suggestions on 1800s perspective books welcome!

Perspective; the practice & theory of perspective as applied to pictures, with a section dealing with its application to architecture by Rex Vicat Cole might fit the bill – the listed publication date is 1870.

Thank you, that seems to be the book I was looking for!
