Search/Select Bar in Maya 2018?

Hi,

I have watching several old Maya tutorials and I see this search bar used frequently. The search bar is used to select objects in the outliner at ease.
The only problem is I can’t find this section in Maya 2018. I already twirled all the sub-menu but I cannot find such feature.

the search is on top of the outliner…

Hi oglu.

I just found it when a colleague point out it to me. Select the cross/hair icon and choose “Select by name”. Then the search appears
