Sculpting tool

#1

Hi guys

I’m looking for a Maya Artisan like tool for lightwave, every 3d app have some sort of variation of this tool for sculpting basic subpatch models. For me some Push-Pull-Smooth would be enough, any records of a plugin like this? Thanks.

I’m not sure if there is a plugin for such tasks but if it is simple enough I just use the magnet tool; heck I use the magnet tool on very complex meshes as well. It really depends on what you are doing but most of the time Magnet works just fine.

For very complex stuff I use ZBrush

Other than ZBrush and Mudbox, there’s this:-

Well, there was also the old trick of using morphs and the weight brush to paint/sculpt details.

Two other options for you to think about:

You can do something similar in LW without any plugins… see this video from Proton:

(you beat me to it, softdistortion!) lol

Or I personally love Silo2 as well… only 150bucks US - full displacement painting and a great SDS modeler.
