Scripting after Effects to output Trapcode Sound Keys as data files

#1

I’m using After Effect with Trapcode SoundKeys.

I’d like to output keyframes generated by soundkeys as text files. I can do by cutting and pasting of course, but I’d like to automate.

Is it possible to script After Effects to capture keys from each “range” or all of the EQ bars from soundkeys and then output a text file for each range?

Sure. Should be easy enough to apply multiple instances with different range settings and then have a script collect all those keys to a file. You won’t be able to do this automatically, though. The plug-in uses custom controls all the way, most notably the buttons to populate the audio keyframes and those cannot be scripted in any way.
