Scaling the value of keys in the FCurve window?

#1

Hey guys

This is so frustrating. I do this all the time in maya, but i cant figure out how to scale keys in the fcurve window.

I’ve got my curve, i’ve select all the keys in it so they are highlighted, and i want to scale the value of the keys around a selected point so all the keys above that point get scaled up and the ones below it get scaled down. Is this even possible in motionbuilder?

Thanks

Select your animated object.
Go to the Fcurves window.
Click on the channel or CTRL click if you want to select more. Select the keys you want to scale .
Press the scale button (s is defult I think) .
Now you get handles in the bottom and on the left side of the graph.
Drag them around til you get the desired results.

I can get the scale handles up, but i want both the up/bottom or left/right to move in or out at the same rate when i just change one. Is that possible?

I’ve attached a screencapture of the thing i want to do from maya. The red circle indicates where i scaled all keys from. The larger image is the before and the smaller one the after.

If you mean that you want to have a pivot point to scale from. Then I dont know how to do it. I am farely new to motion builder myself.
Some things I love about it, and some I hate. I am originally a maya guy to. And miss lots of stuff. But most of all faster selection of Character riggs and and a functional dopesheet.
