Scaling a comp incuding nested comps

Hi guys,

I would like to know if there is an easy way of scaling a composition with all of its content from 648x365 to 1280x720.
The background is that I’ve made a couple of animations for a client. Because there were almost no time for producing and rendering these animations (3d) we’ve decided to first make a small web-version to keep the deadline. Now the client wants HD-versions. I know I will have to render everything with the new resolution but what about my After Effects comps? I’ve made extensive use of nested comps, texts and animated masks/ AIs. Do I have to set up everything from scratch or is there a way to proportional scale everything (including line styles, texts, AIs,…) to the new size and then replace the small 3d footage with the new rendered HD footage?

Check AEnhancers.com and AEScripts .com. There’s certainly some stuff there that can help (in addition to the Scale Comps script that comes with AE). Some stuff you will have to redo, though…
