Saved Viewports/Backdrops

Ok… I save backdrops under the Vieport Widget ‘Save Viewport As…’ etc.
I added them to the ‘3D Edit’ Category. Works fine. When I close the model and then reopen it, I still have to select that setting from the Viewport Widget. Correct? They don’t just appear automatically upon open. At least that’s how it’s working for me.

However, when I create a NEW object, or even quit and reboot, these saved Viewport Settings are still in the list. I would imagine that after time, this list might get quite long. How do I DELETE or CLEAR these saved ‘viewport’ settings? Not saved Layouts(those I can clear), but saved Viewports???
