Saved View Ports not staying saved.

#1

I was just wondering if I’m doing something wrong here or what, but I find this quite annoying. I created a new view port, it’s a modification of the mod-quad, but it has all my prefs for each window set the way I want them. Ok so I’m working away and I change a few things, like maybe I make on of the quads to a UV editor, and then maybe change the view type of the perspective quad. Now I want to go back to the way I saved it. When I try to reload it, it’s still the same. It’s as though it is always overwriting my saved settings. I would figure that, if I save a view port, it’s
well, saved! Is this a bug or a feature? Also any idea how the view port revert command works? Any help here would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ok i figured out the revert command,… mostly.it’s pretty wired that you have to type in the name of the viewport you want to revert to; that should really be a pulldown, also it’s case sensitive. But this still leaves the question, what are tweaks? and what is new type? what do they do?

Thanks.
