Satellite rendering does not work for me in Softimage 2010

Hi. I tried to set up satellite rendering in Softimage 2010. Using the normal configuration, the program crashes. I then setup the environment variable to use “set MI_FORCE_OLD_BSP=1”, the program doesn’t crash; however the satellites stop working, and I get an error message “PAR 0.n error 021080 cannot send rerouted message to 127”. I then fired up Softimage 7.5, and using “set MI_FORCE_OLD_BSP=1” in my environment variable. I have no problems rendering using satellites using Softimage 7.5. Anyone else have any problems with this?

Now it works fine, although I don’t know what I did differently. Never mind!

Actually it still freezes up for me, after the first render even when I adjust my environment variable to use “set MI_FORCE_OLD_BSP=1”. I’ve gone back to Softimage 7.5 for satellite rendering until this gets resolved.
