The biggest problem I see in your work is the anatomy. You have to study it a lot more and use proper references if you want your work to look credible, and this is regardless of what style yo work in. You also have other basic problems in your work like perspective, lighting, colors, etc.
Have you been to the Art Techniques & Theory forum of cgtalk (linked below in my signature). If you haven’t, you really ought to go over there and read the sticky threads–they contain so much goodies that will really help you become a better artist–everything from the basics all the way to the most advanced/sophisticated concepts.
