RPG Game Development Project

** Please note. This is not an MMORPG Game, it is a single player game with as original a story you can get in this day and age **

Project Status :
Private!
We have put together a few concepts and a short introductory cinematic, not yet released to the public. Intended for private use to gather interest among potential funders.
Kick Off date is the 5th of January 2007

Brief description :
The Project is a RPG Title. Played from 3rd Person the player will be immersed into a diverse environment set in the distant future, strong emphasis is placed on story telling, player interaction and an intuitive control system. Character development and involvement is also a primary focal point in the title.

Target aim :
Commercial Release

Remmuniration :
The initial Stages of this Project are geared towards funding. Payment will be either on apre project basis until we have achieved funding and a budget to employ full time artists

Technology :
C# and openGL. (Using Existing Engine)
Initial Target platform is PC
wii considered as possible port

Talent needed :
Concept Artists Props (weapons/vehicles/items)
Concept Artists Scenic (Level/World Design)
Character Designers (2D)
Further positions will be opened as the project progesses and the need arises.

Paul Harrington - Project Lead. Art/Story Director
Andrea Santambrogio - Programming Director
Sven Darren Bergstrom - Graphics Programmer (Freelancing)
Paulo & Carlos Vilela - Lead Artists Dept. Head
Becky (Mei Ling) Duk - Lead Animator Dept. Head

Requirements :

For the current position of concept artist we will be requiring any previous work done which you believe will prove vital in the selection process. Feel free to specialise in a field e.g. Characters, vehicles, Weapons etc.

Vehicle/Weapon Concepts:
Drawing must show a clear understanding of mechanical functionality, design & practicality

Props/Items Concepts:
Creative flair in adapting current world items to give them a futuristic look/feel while maintaining practicality

Character Design/Concepts:
Strong figure Drawing abilities and a good understanding of anotomy

Level/World Concepts:
A Background in drawing/Painting landscapes and stills.

Legal Requirements :

Due to the commercial nature of this project, all approved applicants will be required to sign and adhere to a legally binding NDA. All current team members are already under said NDA Documents and will not reveal any material to persons not under the afore mentioned agreement.

Application Closing Date:

Closing date for concept artists is the 10th of january 2007. applications submitted after said date will be held for consideration on any further work required on the project
