RPF Motion Blur an G-Buffer Builder Problem

#1

Hello everybody,

i tried to use the new g-buffer builder to apply the rpf-motion blur information from one layer to another. cause of the lack on information i tried it that way:

i applied a show g-buffer operator on the rpf footage, set it up to display the velocity channel and connect the output to the g-buffer-builder velocity input.

i applied a another show g-buffer operator on the rpf footage, set it up to display the coverage channel and connect the output to the g-buffer-builder coverage input.

i applied to both sequences which where for test reasons the same sequence, one as rpf and one as tga, a rpf-motionblur operator.

when i compare both motionblurs they don“t match. they even point to slightly different directions with different intensities.

i hope some knows how to deal right with this.

nobody ? :frowning:

i was playing around with it yesterday, when you add the show g-buffer node, you can adjust the maximum velocity. Set that to the maximum and then set it the same on the g-buffer builder node, then when you add the rpf motion blur, it should match.
