Rotation question.

When I use the button in the top right of the viewport, it rotates just fine from the center of the world. If I use the mouse + alt on the other hand, it rotates all crooked and stuff. Starts slanting and turning upside down. Is there a way to fix this?

Also, While im at it, is there a way to remap mouse/movement keys. I find 3ds max has the best movement setup.

I think this question has been asked billions of times in this forum. Just goto texture tab on the window and turn off trackball rotation. It shud start behaving like maya rotation

Don’t move the mouse crooked when you rotate the viewport. :slight_smile:

Once you find an angle you like fire off “viewport.rectify”
