Rotation order

#1

Hi All,

The pipeline I’m using right now involves animating in Lightwave, exporting a lw motion file (.mot) and importing that into blender.

The issue I’m having is that lightwave and blender have different rotation orders meaning that my animation is not importing into blender correctly.

Is there a way to set rotation order in Blender?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Simon

If you have on mind bones then there is no way - at least I have never found it.

No bones just simple object rotations.

A lot of my animation is getting flipped on import so need a solution to this problem.

There is one, but it is not worth it. Maybe better to do everything in one program.
Theoretically you could make object parent to Empty, parented to Empty, and rotate every Empty and Object around just one axis. But it would be a pain in the ass.
