does anyone know how to rotate the viewport on another axis like you can with lightwave by right clicking on the rotate button instead of left clicking?

how do you convice thr rotate tool to rotate on the axis assoaiated with teh viewport your in like lightwave - this rotating all over the place is confusing and specially since i turned off those little icon things its impossible
Alt and drag left and right at the top of the screen with trackball rotation turned on…
And for rotating the model, try Screen action center and the planer rotate tool (Shift-E)
ohhhhhhhh now thats more like it =) thanks even works as mouse action center too - now got that worked out time i think to try complete a project in modo and leave modeler alone
