Rotate Roll axis in MB???

Hi,

Is it possible to rotate the roll axis on a rig without rotating the Joint in the same time??? I need to animate the fingers, but the rot axis are not properly aligned to the finger so I would need to rotate it in 2 axis to get the right rotation…

Are you trying to rotate the finger effectors in Global or in Local rotation mode ?

Then the problem with the fingers not being oriented properly should be coming from characterization. Was your character in a T-pose with the arms and fingers fully stretched (and the fingers straight and pointing outwards) ? When the bones in the skeleton are oriented properly and you follow the correct characterization process you should have no problems with efector orientation. Hope I was helpfull :slight_smile:

Dont remember if it was in T-pose when I characterized it, but it might be the problem…Thanks
