Robots!

I’m in the early stages of this animation, but I’d like to get it to around the 2 or 3 minute mark. This is going to be a very fast paced futuristic battle between two robots, each with unique “powers”.

I need some suggestions for the environment, and if anyone else has animated a fight scene here, is it easier to animate a fight scene pose-to-pose, or on the fly?

No one ever comments on my stuff haha.

Refined it up a bit.

Theres too much motion in the camera to read anything. He’s rotating his head right, but its barely noticeable as they blend together. As the camera eases over the shoulder, give it 8 frames or more so the audience can catch up. Delay that head turn once the camera settles and the action will be a lot clearer. As he stands up from ducking, he feels off-balance - push his hips back. Thats all I got. :stuck_out_tongue:

Really great advice on all counts. Some of the camera motion is intentional, but in the areas you mentioned, it’s pretty unnecessary, so I’ll remove/change the movement.

Something did feel kinda weird about the white robot’s standing motion, and now that you point it out, the hips do move in a completely vertical motion, no arc to them at all.

Thanks a ton Garrett!
