'Rigid' joints?

Fairly new to Maya and this forum, so hello! :slight_smile:

Currently in the processing and creating a rig but I’m having some problems with getting the bend of the arm the way I would like it.

The first image is how it is now so I’ve marked how with red lines how I would like to be. Just a simple, rigid joint.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :smiley:

Hey I started with Maya a couple of months ago, so I’m kind of new too :stuck_out_tongue:
