Hi there
I have rigged a character in lightwave and the rig seems to be working fine. However, it seems to be deforming my character far and beyond the funky chicken dance 
not sure if it has something to do with the rest rotations/positions of the bones.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’m fairly new to this.

PS. in case anyone is wondering why the foot joints appear different to the skelegon layer on the model, its because i found a tutorial on how to rig the legs using joints and have replaced the bones in the feet with joints. Hope this isn’t the reason for the funky deformations!!
