Been trying to get a satisfactory foot/ankle deformation, but with a straight-forward knee/ankle/ball/toe joint hierarchy, it seems fairly hard to achieve. Either the heel behaves oddly, shortening the foot/moving forwards as the foot is bent down (due to too much influence from the knee joint), or the entire ankle, including the Achilles tendon, bends backwards as the foot is bent down (too much influence from the ancle joint). I have a hard time to strike a nice balance in there, and intuitively it feels as though it would need another joint for the backside of the foot/Achilles tendon… But how should that be set up?
Rigging a heel?
