I’m an amateur that went through 3 years of training at an atelier and still have no idea what the crap I’m doing.
One thing I know for sure, is that I want to be an art god like you or draw women like Marc Brunet.

Did a study yesterday of Ben Zhang’s work. I really like his line quality and I have always been bad at doing lines digitaly. This really helped me gain more patience dealing with lineart.
Took me 10 hours to arrive at this point, not sure if it’s too long since I want to improve on my speed.

Still work in progress. I will continue with the colors and values.

Filled all the flat colours with lasso and bucket tool. Took awhile to mark down everything with lasso tool, not sure if this method is faster than just filling in the flat colours with regular old hard round brush.
Right now I’m trying out gradient map as a way to render this study. As you can see i started already on the goggles.
