Reverse Foot Rig with Toes

So I was working on my first character rig and I wanted to create a reverse foot rig to help me animate when the character starts walking. In the example I was following, though, the model had no toes, making it simple to to create a series of joints in the opposite order, since the joints never branched off.

Does anyone know how I would do this for a model has toes (only two in my case)? If I understand correctly, all the joints should be aligned perfectly for this to work.

Hi,
Have controls for the toes and get the constrained to the ball joint. Things will work as you wish.
