Retopologize scan data in Mudbox- Problem

im working on retopo 3d scane-im projecting high poly 3d scan in to new retopo poly,that i made. Ive beem waching this tut:

The 1st part is ok,but when i use the sculpt using map operation
all hell breaks loose…
What can it be?

have you scaled one of the meshes…?
may i see your bake settings…

The two models are in the same scale…
After i saw you message i rescale the models to about 30 cm…
And it work!!
Before, it was 2 m,is it to big for mudbox?

2meter should be ok but maybe your search distance was to small…
its working now thats good…

How would you fix problem like this?
Is there a “Good tool” for this?
The smooth tool and the grab tool dont help so much…

you have to fix that from the ground up…
start on level1 and go up…

I did some masking on the displacement layer and
after that smoothing…
Now i`m ready for painting…Thanks a lot
