Repositioning a joint after applying muscle capsule

Hello. I’ve searched the help file and found out about these Create base for selected Muscle Objects and Reset Base Pose for selected Muscle Objects but am at a loss on how to actually go about moving the joints or rotating the capsules after moving the joint. Searching the web or even this forum didn’t turn up anything.

Am I doing something wrong, does the tool not really function, or am I just misunderstanding how it’s supposed to be used? Using 2011x64 if that helps.
